The Mountain Nine

The first 9 offers challenging golf in a rugged, natural rainforest setting, following the contours of Mount Santubong’s foothills, with the mountain providing a spectacular backdrop to most of the fairways.

 

Hole 4

The par 4 is unique to the course as it is the only hole without a bunker. The tight and narrow fairway is a corridor of rainforest and cut through a small creek – golfers cannot afford to be lulled by its beauty.
 

Hole 9

This index 5 hole presents a demanding finish to the first nine. With two large ponds guarding the tee shot and the green, players need not only technical skill but also mental composure to carefully strategize their approach to navigate this challenging course section successfully.

The Ocean Nine

The second 9 both dramatic and breathtaking, hugging the South China Sea, fringed by mangrove swamp forest, rocky outcrops, scenic fairways and beautiful beaches. The idyllic Satang Island and coastal ranges, form the backdrop.

 

Hole 17

Our signature hole, this short 141 metre par 3, needs nerves of steel. With the South China Sea on three sides, wind conditions are a major factor, this hole was listed as one of Malaysia’s Super 18 par 3 hole voted by Par Golf Magazine for 2005/ 2006.

 

Hole 18

The tight par 5 is a magnificent finishing hole. From tee to green, the left side is guarded by the ocean, the right by Casuarina grooves. With narrow landing areas on the fairway for first and second shots. A series of bunkers await as you approach this tricky finishing hole.
